Macbookproblems 		It depends what you want it for e.g. games, internet, entertainment, work. Are you familiar with Mac or PC? If you are not, you should first try a PC.

4 Drive space a factor ?
5 SSD vs Hard Drive a factor ?

7 What do you plan on doing with the laptop ?

You need to give us more details.

It depends on what you are looking at. Apple has only two lines of computers either the Macbook Air's or the Macbook Pro's. Whereas HP has over 20 depending on what country and market you are in (rich country vs poor country).

If you are looking at the consumer line of HP a Apple laptop is better.
If you are looking at the business line of HP then we need further info to say whether a Apple Laptop is better.

BTW what country are you in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, some other English speaking country or a non English speaking country.

HP Models = a lot so will not list them
