How do I unlock my Packard Bell Netbook?


I have locked myself out of my Packard Bell Netbook and I am unsure of what to do. I reset the password a few weeks ago and lost the piece of paper with it written on.
It is a new Netbook, only seven or eight months old and is made my Packard Bell. It is red and has Windows 7.
If anyone knows of any methods, being free or expensive, please tell me soon. I need it for my work and am going crazy without it.

Mohbsoo 		A few days ago, I had met the same headache things. The login screen rejected my passwords. I was frustrated because there was very important data on my disk and I couldn't reinstall the OS. ............. johnrobert 		Star Computer in Safe mode
Restart computer press F2 b4 first screen goes away(one of the F buttons)
you will have to pick Safe mode(or Safe mode with networking or Safe mode with Command Prompt)
Log in reset Password in command Prompt

notebookpro 		To make a new account with Administrative privledges....reboot the computer.....when you see the black screen...tap f8 (may be different on your computer) repeatedly till you see a black screen with white lettering....select with your keyboard arrows Safe Mode....then hit enter....the administrators screen should appear..click on and enter...no password is required...then go to start > control panel > users accounts...and click on make new account........from there you can make a new account with admin rights and password protect it....once done...log off....follow the intructions above and log in Normal Mode instead of Safe Mode....once done...you will see the new account appear and just log in

pdaguys 		Do you have access to any user? If so, try going into safe mode (you search on the internet on how to do that) and go to the other user and try removing the password.. It once worked for me when I was trying to unlock my dad's notebook which was on XP.. Hope this Helps

johnrobert 		As the previous posters suggestedd, try starting in safe mode, logging in as Administrator and resetting the password on your account.

If that doesn't work, use a password reset utility like this one:

johnrobert 		This is a very simple fix.

Click start, Control Panel, Users (or user accounts depending on which Windows 7)

Click your name and hit change name.
