How do I repair a hp laptop charger that has 3 wires to a dell connecter that has only 2 wires? ?


3 wires are red, white, & black. 2 wires are white & bare

Macbookproblems 		your best bet is just to purchase a new one.. a lot of professionals try to do this and they end up frying your laptop (mostly they do this for fun, if it was a real fix they would never do so). it is a very high risk because the voltages are generally different and especially the internal components are very different. my suggestion is just to get a new charger or your changes of frying your laptop is very likely.. you can look online on generic sites but i would personally suggest topmic they are more reliable and have better reputation. you should be able to find them through google search. make sure the specifications is the same as your current charger (connector tip, voltage, amperage, etc).
