How do I get a disc to run on my Toshiba laptop?


I stuck a disc in the disc slot and normally a little box pops up and gives me options like open, close, save, etc. But I stuck a disc in and it didn't pop up. Is there like a way I can get it to open? Any help appreciated. :)

Macbookproblems 		Open up Computer (or My Computer if you are using XP) and you should see your optical drive listed there (along with your hard drive, etc). You can double click on your optical drive, or you can right click on it and choose Explore, or Play, or Install... etc.

If you find your optical drive is NOT there, leave that window open, and eject the disc. Your optical drive should reappear, except empty. Put the disc back in.. if the drive vanishes or never changes, the disc might be damaged. Examine it.

Macbookproblems 		Click the start button and select the icon labeled this computer. It will bring up all the drives connected, then you can select the optical drive.

Macbookproblems 		Is the CD new or have data or video on it ?
Go to my computer right click the CD/DVD drive and a window/box will pop up make your selection to format disc, open drive etc.
Would help if you posted the model number and installed operating system of the Toshiba when asking a question.
